Tanglewood Berry Farm update July 8

Folks,

The red raspberry & blackberry PYOs will be closed today due to rain. Unless it is raining or we are sold out, the PYOs will be open every Tuesday - Saturday from 9am - 3 pm. We expect to have the spring red raspberries for another 10 days. A very large crop of excellent red raspberries for picking will be available in Sept and Oct. The blackberry PYO is expected to be open until mid-to-late August.

Blueberries are offered as ready-picked only. We hope to expand our planting and be able to offer a blueberry PYO in the coming years.

Our small vegetable PYO will be open starting Saturday. Current items include: eggplant, peppers (bell & anaheim), bulb fennel & summer squash (zucchini & yellow crook neck). The tomatoes and bush beans are 1-2 weeks from being ready to pick.

Looking for flowers to brighten someone's day? We have a cutting flower garden this year and will be offering DYI and prepared flower bouquets at the farm stand starting Friday. All flowers & veggies are grown using organic sprays only.

Have a great day & hope to see you at the farm soon!
