Week of May 6 - 12

Open for strawberries, flower bouquets, and garden starter plants this week:


Wednesday 3 - 7 pm

Saturday 9 am - 3 pm


For those of you new to the farm, there are 3 ways to place an order with us.


  1. Order and pay via our online store. 50 quarts of strawberries are currently available in inventory.

  2. Place an order directly with us at the farm stand during posted open hours.

  3. Text the farm phone (260.416.4464) or send us an email (info@tanglewoodberryfarm.com). We will respond to your request as soon as we can.


We also offer a Seasonal Farm Box if you would like to be sure you get berries for any 20 weeks of your choice during the season from May through early October. Each week's pack will hold 2 containers of berries. Farm boxes must be picked up at the farm stand (7520 Covington Road). We request that you text or call prior to your weekly pick up - 260.416.4464. Cost: $315


Expected pack contents:


May - strawberries (2 qts.)

June -strawberries (1 qt), red raspberries (12 oz.)

July -blackberries (1 qt), blueberries (12 oz.)

August - blackberries (2 qts.) If other types of berries are ripe, you can substitute 1 blackberry for another container.

Sept. -red raspberries (12 oz), strawberries (1 qt)


Flowers

Mixed bouquets will be available. We'll post a Wednesday blog post to let you know what flowers will be in bloom and what the bouquets will look like. These will be great Mother's Day gifts!


Plants

  • garden starts in 3” ready-to-plant peat pots include: tomatoes (slicers, heirlooms, red & yellow cherry); hot peppers (serrano & habanero), eggplant, herbs (oregano, lemon thyme, rosemary, basil, tarragon, sage, chives), yarrow

Note: some tomatoes in 1 gallon containers also available
