Month of June

The farm stand will be open Wednesday 12 noon to 6 pm and Saturday 9 am - 1 pm during the month of June. 

• The spring strawberries are almost done for the season and the summer strawberries are now in harvest. We expect a consistent, relatively low level of strawberries this month. Each Monday we’ll add inventory to the online store for purchase and pick up on Wednesday at the farm stand. Strawberries will also be available Saturdays at the farm stand and at the YLNI farmers market while quantities last. 

• The spring red raspberry crop will be light as we’ve been replacing older plants with newer varieties that should yield a very nice fall crop. As with the strawberries, we’ll add inventory to the online store on Monday for purchase on Wednesdays and some will be available at the Saturday YLNI farmers market and farm stand.

• Looking ahead to July, the blackberries look awesome! There will be an abundant supply available at both the Saturday YLNI farmers market and the Wednesday evening Salomon Farm Park farmers market. The farm stand will be open additional days & hours during blackberry season to accommodate u-pickers.

• Other farm offerings this month include fresh-cut flowers, cucumbers, snow peas & sugar snap peas.
