Our 2026 season has come to an end. We really appreciate everyone's support this year. Even though we did expand our production this year from last, we still could not always meet the demand. So, we are expanding a bit more for 2027 with our focus on our berries. We are increasing our strawberry plantings by 40%, red raspberries by 25%, blackberries by 20%, and our blueberries by 150%. We will also have our cantaloupe and figs which were quite popular this year.

With the added production in 2027, we hope to attend the YLNI more Saturdays than we were able to this year. We will again be at the Salomon Farm Market on Wednesdays, June through August.

We lost several weeks of raspberry, strawberry and blackberry production this season because of rain and extremely high temperature events. We are investing in more protective structures (tunnels), to help mitigate rain damage. This will improve the consistency of quality and also help with season extension for our harvesting.

Our Farm Box subscriptions were very popular this year. We have plans to increase the number of subscriptions by 40% for 2027. We are hoping to incorporate recycled packing, actual boxes, for our Farm Box subscriber's pick up. We will have some more announcements late winter and will be posting our Farm Box program on our website and upon for subscribing.

Thanks to everyone and we look forward to serving you this coming season.

Richard
