Hard to believe it’s May already. We’ve been busy, busy, busy…strawberries are starting to finally turn red, the high tunnel raspberries are beginning to blossom, and we’ve been expanding our operation to grow more fresh produce from the greenhouses and high tunnels.

This season’s farm products include strawberries, blackberries, red raspberries, figs, assorted greens (head lettuces & spinach), mini-cucumbers, grape tomatoes, snow & snap peas, filet beans, herbs, fresh-cut flowers, honey from hives on the farm, and assorted jams made with Tanglewood berries!

Farm stand:  Expected to open for business on Wednesday, May 14. Open times are Wednesday 12 noon - 6pm & Saturdays 9 am - 3 pm.

Farmers markets:  Starting this Saturday, May 3 find our tent at the YLNI on Berry Street west of the Historical Museum from 9 am-1 pm.

We’ll have first leaf lettuce and spinach of the season and some herbs. Plus if you’re looking to add perennial plants to a shade garden or just fill in a shady spot, then come see our selection of Fiddlehead ferns, Christmas ferns, New York ferns and Hellebores. All are unique and hardy to the Midwest.

June through September find us at Solomon Farm Park Wednesdays from 3-7 pm.

U-pick: Only blackberries are available for u-picking this year. The blackberry season runs from July through mid-August. Open hours and days will be posted in late June.

Online store: To help us improve handling of online orders, we now require orders to include a phone number so you can be contacted if the order can’t be filled on the requested day — usually due to weather-related conditions. Orders must be picked up on the day and place you chose when placing the order.

New this year — orders can be picked up at the farm stand during open hours or at either farmers market. If you can’t pick up your order at the designated time, it will be kept in the cooler and available for pickup during the next regular open hours.
